Terms and Conditions – VVIP Toronto Limo

Reservations and Confirmation

All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and written confirmation from our dispatch team. A valid contact number and email address are required for all reservations. While we strive to accommodate schedule changes, any modifications made after confirmation are subject to availability and may result in updated pricing.

Limitation of Liability and Independent Contractors

VVIP Toronto Limo (operated by 1000777900 Ontario Inc.) acts as a professional dispatch and reservation platform.

  • Service Providers: Transportation services are provided by independent owner-operators or third-party contractors.
  • Driver Responsibility: Each driver is an independent contractor solely responsible for maintaining valid commercial insurance, vehicle registration, and necessary security clearances as required by Ontario law.
  • Exclusion of Liability: VVIP Toronto Limo is not liable for any loss, personal injury, property damage, or financial claims resulting from accidents, driver negligence, or misconduct. Any claims arising from the operation of the vehicle must be directed to the individual driver’s insurance provider.

Vehicle Malfunction and Force Majeure

  • Breakdown Policy: In the event of an unforeseen mechanical issue, we will make every reasonable effort to provide a replacement vehicle; however, availability is not guaranteed.
  • Prorated Billing: If a breakdown occurs during a trip, the client will only be charged for the completed portion of the journey. VVIP Toronto Limo is not responsible for any consequential costs (e.g., missed flights) resulting from a breakdown.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays caused by severe weather, road closures, or civil unrest beyond our control.

Airport Transfer Protocols

  • International Arrivals: 45 minutes of complimentary wait time from the time the flight lands.
  • Domestic Arrivals: 30 minutes of complimentary wait time from the time the flight lands. Wait time beyond these periods is billed at $1.50 per minute. Premium “Meet and Greet” services (driver meeting you inside with a sign) are available with fee plus applicable parking costs.

Hourly, Event, and Wedding Services

  • Overages: Any time exceeding the original reservation will be billed in 30-minute increments.
  • Itinerary: The chauffeur will follow the pre-approved itinerary. We are not liable for delays caused by event scheduling or guest delays.

Pricing, Fees, and Taxes

  • Standard Charges: All quotes are in CAD and exclude 13% HST.
  • Mandatory Fees: Tolls (including 407 ETR), airport facility fees, and parking will be added to the final invoice.
  • Gratuity: A standard chauffeur gratuity of 15% to 20% is recommended. For large vehicles or wedding packages, 20% may be automatically added.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

  • 24+ Hours Notice: Eligible for a 75% refund. A $25 Administrative Processing Fee will be deducted from all eligible refunds to cover merchant and transaction costs.
  • Within 24 Hours: No refund will be issued, and 100% of the total fare will be charged.
  • No-Show: If a client is not present within 30 minutes of the scheduled time (excluding airport arrivals) without notice, the trip is billed at 100%.

Passenger Conduct and Damage

  • Prohibitions: Smoking, vaping, and illegal drug use are strictly prohibited.
  • Cleaning Fee: A minimum $350 cleaning fee applies to any incident requiring professional detailing (e.g., spills, vomiting, or smoking).
  • Physical Damage: The client assumes full financial responsibility for any damage to the vehicle’s interior or exterior caused by themselves or their guests.

Luggage and Safety Seats

  • Capacity: Clients must adhere to the luggage capacity of the booked vehicle. Chauffeurs reserve the right to refuse items that compromise safety.
  • Child Seats: Per Ontario law, clients are responsible for providing and installing their own child safety seats. Our chauffeurs are not authorized to install these seats due to liability restrictions.

Late-Night and Early-Morning Surcharge

Reservations scheduled for pickup between 11:30 PM and 5:30 AM are subject to a nominal $20 After-Hours Surcharge.

Pet Policy

Pets must be disclosed at the time of booking and remain in specialized crates. A $30 pet cleaning fee applies. Service animals are exempt from the crate requirement but must remain on the vehicle floor.

Final Authority and Extensions

The chauffeur is not authorized to change the core itinerary or extend service without approval from dispatch. We reserve the right to conclude service at the scheduled time if an extension conflicts with other reservations.

Non-Solicitation of Drivers

Clients agree not to solicit or engage in private transportation arrangements with our drivers or contractors outside of the VVIP Toronto Limo platform.

Privacy and Data Security

Personal and payment data is used strictly for service fulfillment and billing. We never sell or share your personal data with third parties.

15. Dispute Resolution and Chargeback Policy

  • Internal Resolution: The client agrees to contact VVIP Toronto Limo management to resolve any service disagreements before contacting their financial institution.
  • Chargeback Indemnification: If a client initiates a chargeback for a service provided according to these terms (including “No-Shows”), the client agrees to pay an Administrative Dispute Fee of $150 to cover internal labor and bank fees.
  • Legal Jurisdiction: Any legal disputes shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and settled in the jurisdiction of the Durham Region or Toronto.

By completing a booking with VVIP Toronto Limo, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
